Centara Welcomes Saudi National Day
Holidaymakers with Exceptional Maldives Experiences
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia – As Saudi Arabia
prepares to celebrate its 96th National Day on 23 September 2026, Centara
Hotels & Resorts has unveiled a selection of special experiences and offers
for travellers from the Kingdom seeking an exceptional holiday in the Maldives,
combining luxurious accommodation, white-sand beaches, marine adventures,
wellness and distinctive dining experiences.
Among the group’s featured destinations for
the occasion are two contrasting Maldivian escapes: Centara Grand Lagoon
Maldives and Machchafushi Island Resort & Spa Maldives, offering
experiences tailored to families, couples, wellness seekers and marine
adventure enthusiasts.
Located in North Malé Atoll, Centara Grand
Lagoon Maldives features spacious two- and three-bedroom residences set over
the water and along the beachfront. The resort is also home to six restaurants,
four cafés and comprehensive wellness and fitness facilities, including SPA
Cenvaree Retreat, a dedicated yoga pavilion and a modern fitness centre.
Guests can enjoy scuba diving, water sports
and ocean excursions, alongside a range of activities designed for families and
younger travellers. The resort’s “Endless Summer in the Isles” offer includes
complimentary round-trip luxury speedboat transfers for two adults when booking
a stay of four nights or more, valid for stays until 15 October 2026.
Selected accommodation packages also include
a spa credit of up to USD 60, approximately SAR 225, per person per stay. The
offer is available for bookings made until 30 September 2026, for stays through
31 December 2026.
In South Ari Atoll, Machchafushi Island
Resort & Spa Maldives offers a different experience for travellers drawn to
nature and underwater adventure. Surrounded by vibrant coral reefs, the resort
provides access to more than 50 dive sites, with opportunities to encounter
turtles, reef sharks and a diverse range of tropical marine life.
One of the area’s most notable dive sites is
the Kudhi Maa shipwreck, a 52-metre vessel that has developed into a thriving
artificial reef since it sank in 1999, attracting a wide variety of marine
species.
Beyond diving, guests can enjoy kayaking and
stand-up paddleboarding or unwind at the award-winning SPA Cenvaree, set amid a
tranquil natural environment beneath a centuries-old banyan tree believed to be
more than 200 years old.

Coinciding with the Saudi National Day travel
season, the resort’s “Machchafushi Summer” offer provides a 25% discount on
seaplane transfers for stays of four nights, increasing to 50% for stays of
nine nights or more. The offer is valid for stays until 15 October 2026.
Spa credits are also available with selected
accommodation packages, starting from USD 30 per person with the Half Board
Plus package and reaching USD 40 per person with the Full Board Plus package.
The offers form part of Centara Hotels &
Resorts’ commitment to providing Saudi travellers with a diverse range of
holiday experiences during the National Day break, combining privacy,
relaxation, wellness and marine exploration in one of the Indian Ocean’s most
sought-after destinations.
