Arabic offers GCC travelers an integrated, accessible and information-rich platform to fully plan their visit to the

Russian capital

In response to growing demand from travelers from the GCC and the wider Arab region, the Moscow City Tourism Committee, the sectoral executive body responsible for implementing, developing and regulating Moscow City's tourism and hospitality policy, has launched the Arabic-language version of Discover Moscow, the city's official tourism information ecosystem.

The Arabic version of the website, https://discover.moscow/ar, brings together under one integrated umbrella all travel information, curated recommendations, seasonal ideas and useful tips for visitors planning to visit Moscow. The user-friendly platform, accessible across all devices, helps travelers explore the city’s key attractions, cultural routes, parks, events, restaurants, shopping areas and family-friendly experiences, making it easier to organize a visit before arrival.

According to the Moscow City Tourism Committee, this initiative aims at creating a more convenient, meticulous comfortable, and personalized travel experience for guests from the Middle East intending to visit one of the world’s safest and extra modern capitals that combines cultural heritage, modern urban infrastructure, premium hospitality, green public spaces, refined gastronomy and a mild and comfortable summer climate.

The Arabic website also helps travelers discover Moscow's summer offerings. For travelers from the region, Moscow is becoming an increasingly popular summer destination thanks to its fresh air, shaded boulevards, river embankments and long evenings outdoors. With more than 140 parks and natural areas, Moscow is widely regarded as one of the world's greenest megacities. Landmarks such as Gorky Park, Zaryadye, Kolomenskoye and Tsaritsyno showcase different sides of the city, from landscaped gardens and river views to historic architecture and peaceful green spaces.

During the summer months, Moscow transforms into an open-air cultural venue. The "Summer in Moscow" project brings concerts, performances, workshops, food markets, floral installations and family activities to streets, parks and public spaces across the capital. With more than 500 venues across the city, the project features cultural, educational, sporting and lifestyle events throughout the season, allowing visitors to experience Moscow beyond traditional sightseeing routes. Classic attractions include the Kremlin, Red Square, Alexander Garden and the historic city center. Art lovers can visit the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts and the Tretyakov Gallery, while families may explore VDNH, the Cosmonautics Museum, Moskino Film Park, Dream Island amusement park, aquaparks and science centers.

To better cater to visitors from the GCC and the wider Arab region, Moscow continues to expand services tailored to Arab travelers. Prayer rooms are available at major airports, while halal-friendly dining options continue to grow across the city, including in premium restaurants and hotel venues. Tourist information centers operate in key locations, including the historic center, river stations and Dream Island amusement park. One of the centers also offers on-site banking services, helping visitors obtain tourist cards and handle practical matters in one place.

Premium gastronomy and shopping remain key elements of the Moscow experience. The city offers high-end hotels with suites, spa and wellness facilities, concierge support, private transfers and personalized services.
