
Nissan Saudi Arabia Takes the Nissan Tat’ees Championship into the Digital World through Fortnite

Arabia has unveiled a custom digital map inspired by the Nissan Tat’ees
Championship within Fortnite, marking a new step in translating the thrill of
dune driving from the desert into the digital world. The immersive experience
captures the essence of the championship while celebrating its strong cultural
roots through an interactive format designed for digital-native audiences.
Commenting on the initiative, Abdulilah Wazni, Marketing,
Product, and Customer Experience Director at Nissan Saudi Arabia and the Middle

Originally created to celebrate power, speed, and precision
across demanding sand courses, the Nissan Tat’ees Championship draws
inspiration from the Kingdom’s long-standing passion for dune driving as a
defining expression of its desert heritage. The championship reflects Nissan’s
continued commitment to supporting desert motorsports and strengthening its
connection with the Saudi community—building on more than 70 years of presence
in the Kingdom through initiatives that honor local values while evolving in
line with the interests and engagement styles of new generations.
Extending the championship beyond the physical arena, Nissan
has brought the Tat’ees experience to Fortnite through a custom-built digital
map that mirrors the competitive spirit of the real-world event. Players are
invited to explore an interactive interpretation of dune driving within a
dynamic virtual environment inspired by the challenges and excitement of the
championship.
This initiative represents an integrated model that brings
together a professional, on-ground motorsport championship with a digital
gaming experience, creating a seamless connection between the physical and
virtual worlds. It reflects the evolving nature of audience engagement through
interactive platforms and aligns with Nissan Saudi Arabia’s focus on creative
innovation and delivering experiences rooted in local culture and tailored to
audience interests.
The custom digital map is now live within Fortnite, enabling
players in the Kingdom and internationally to engage in an open, immersive
experience inspired by Saudi dune driving and the spirit of Tat’ees.
