fans from more than 100 countries as the Saudi-born platform extends its EWC
partnership into Europe.
PARIS / RIYADH, 27
August 2026 — webook.com, the Official Ticketing Partner of the Esports World
Cup 2026, has completed its first EWC delivery in France, supporting the fan
journey across seven weeks of competition in Paris. The tournament extends a
partnership established in Riyadh into a major European market and marks
another step in webook.com’s international growth.
Fans from more than 100
countries purchased tickets through webook.com, with France emerging as the
event’s largest ticket market. From event discovery and booking to customer
support and venue access, the platform supported an integrated fan experience throughout
the tournament.
Beyond the competition
itself, webook.com helped turn EWC’s wider fan engagement into attendance.
Major finals across the 25-tournament programme reached full arena capacity,
while Paris set new EWC ticket-sales records. Demand was also supported through
fan activations including star guest showmatches with Karim Benzema and Amine,
meet-and-greets with F1 driver Pierre Gasly and NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo,
and partner collaborations such as giveaways with NRJ and PlayStation;
extending EWC’s reach to new audiences and creating additional pathways from
interest to attendance.
The Paris delivery
demonstrates that the technology, operational capabilities and service model
webook.com developed for Saudi Arabia’s high-demand live entertainment market
can be deployed successfully in new international markets. It positions
webook.com as a Saudi-born local champion built to scale: proven at home,
expanding globally and ready to support major events wherever their audiences
gather.
Nadeem Bakhsh, Chief
Executive Officer and Co-Founder of webook.com, said: “Paris turns our
international ambition into operating proof. We took a partnership built in
Riyadh, deployed our platform and operating model in France, and served fans
travelling from more than 100 countries, with France becoming the event’s
largest ticket market.
“This is what the next
stage of webook.com’s growth looks like: a Saudi-born company whose
capabilities were built and tested in one of the world’s most dynamic
entertainment markets, and which is now ready to deliver internationally. We
are scaling what works, not only our technology, but the operational experience
and understanding of fans that sit behind it.”
The successful Paris
deployment gives webook.com a proven European case study as it develops new
relationships with rights holders, venues and event organisers. It also
complements the company’s existing European presence through SmartMove in
Portugal and supports its longer-term international expansion.
