SUSE Powers New Era of Innovation with Formal Entry into Saudi Arabia

The expansion brings power of open source software to fuel growth, innovation and digital sovereignty across the Kingdom

Riyadh, 23 December 2025 — SUSE, a global leader in enterprise open source solutions, today formalizes its operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This marks a significant milestone in SUSE's long-term commitment to the region, and reinforces the Kingdom's central role in the company's Central Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEMEA) growth strategy.

The formal entry into the market will deepen SUSE's local presence, accelerate customer adoption of open technologies, and drive the development of high-skilled local jobs and technical training across Saudi Arabia. The move comes as the Kingdom's information and communications technology (ICT) market is entering a period of rapid expansion, estimated at around USD 50.6 billion in 2024 and projected to reach USD 76.05 billion by 2029. The country's data center sector is also seeing significant growth, with expectations that it will exceed USD 3.9 billion by 2030, supported by a cloud-first government strategy and large-scale public investment aligned with Vision 2030.

SUSE's presence in the Middle East is already well established, and this formal entry into Saudi Arabia complements existing regional activities, partner networks and customer relationships. The new entity will enable SUSE to deliver even closer support to enterprises and public sector bodies seeking to advance their digital transformation and data sovereignty goals.
