The third edition of the Saudi Intermobility Exhibition 2025 has kicked off at Riyadh Front for Exhibitions and Conferences in Riyadh. The exhibition is held under the patronage of His Excellency Eng. Badr bin Abdullah Al-Dulami, Deputy Minister of Transport and Logistics Services for Roads Affairs and Acting CEO of the General Authority for Roads, with the Authority supporting the event as a strategic partner, in collaboration with Informa Connect.
On behalf of His Excellency, the exhibition was inaugurated by the
Ministry’s Deputy for Operations and Maintenance, Engineer Tariq bin Ziyad
Al-Shami. The exhibition runs until December 3, with broad participation from
more than 200 exhibitors representing 30 countries, in addition to thousands of
specialists and experts from both the public and private sectors. They will
showcase the latest technologies and smart solutions in the fields of
transportation and sustainable infrastructure.
In his opening speech, Engineer Al-Shami expressed his gratitude and
appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin
Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin
Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister — may God preserve them, for
their unlimited support for the roads sector in the Kingdom. He emphasized that
this support forms the cornerstone of the sector’s development journey toward
achieving the goals of the Roads Sector Program within the National Transport
and Logistics Strategy.
Al-Shami affirmed that the Kingdom today ranks first globally in road
network connectivity, which contributes to facilitating mobility, empowering
various sectors, and solidifying the Kingdom’s position as a global logistics
hub. He further noted that safety is a key pillar of the Roads Sector Program,
with a target of reaching 90% of the road network rated at three stars or
higher according to the International Road Assessment Programme (iRAP) by 2030.
He pointed out that results from the world’s largest road-network survey
confirmed that more than 77% of Saudi Arabia’s roads meet the highest global
safety standards.
For his part, Chairman of the Saudi Contractors Authority, Mr. Mohammed bin
Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan, explained that the Saudi Intermobility Exhibition 2025 and
the World Future Roads Forum bring together leading industry pioneers,
innovators, and decision-makers from around the world to discuss the future of
roads, mobility, and infrastructure technologies. He noted that the forum’s
theme addresses one of the Kingdom’s most vital development sectors, the roads
and infrastructure sector, which forms the backbone of mobility and economic
and social activity.
The event features the launch of a range of new technologies supporting the
development of the transport system and enhancing its efficiency and
sustainability. It also hosts the World Future Roads Forum with the
participation of key leaders in the transport sector and urban planners from
various entities inside and outside the Kingdom, including: the Roads General
Authority, the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, the Ministry of Municipal and
Rural Affairs and Housing, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming
and Drones, and the Holy Capital Municipality.
The forum discusses several key topics, including: smart roads and smart
infrastructure, sustainable road development, road safety, traffic management,
urban mobility, road planning, and future road infrastructure. The
event will also feature specialised workshops presented in partnership with:
Saudi Council of Engineers, CIFAL Saudi Arabia, Road Safety School, ISWIM,
CIHT, ITS Arab, PMI-KSA. This makes the exhibition a comprehensive
platform for knowledge exchange and the adoption of global best practices in
developing intelligent transport systems.
The third edition of the exhibition reinforces its status as a leading
national platform for innovation in transportation, infrastructure, and
sustainable mobility. Following the major success of the Jeddah 2024 edition,
it further highlights Riyadh’s pivotal role as a key center in driving national
transformation under the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The event is sponsored by several prominent entities in the sector. The list
of sponsors includes Makani Parking as the Strategic Parking Partner, while
platinum sponsors include Chainzone, Idex Services, Midsign, and Arsann. Gold
sponsors include Al-Haramain Industrial Group Company, National Paints, Nour Massah
Company for Industry, Passing Road Group, and Qudra for Communication and
