Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – 18 November 2025: Nissan Saudi Arabia has successfully concluded the second round of the Nissan Tat’ees Championship 2025 in the Bahra area of Jeddah, held under the supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation. The event drew a strong turnout of motorsport fans and desert-driving enthusiasts, underscoring the growing popularity of off-road sports across the Kingdom.

Serving
as the midpoint of a three-round championship journey, the Jeddah event followed
the season’s opening event in Dammam and precedes the upcoming third and final
rounds in Hail. By spanning multiple regions and sand terrains, the
championship offers competitors a diverse range of conditions that help elevate
performance levels and shape the pathway toward determining the season’s
champions.
The
Jeddah round featured broad participation across modified and stock vehicle
categories, in addition to ATV, UTV, and motorcycle classes. The event also
welcomed female competitors, reflecting the expanding role of women in Saudi
motorsports. Across two days, activities included registration, administrative
and technical inspections, a drivers’ briefing, and dedicated training sessions
ahead of the official competitive runs.
Competitive racing commenced on Day 2, with drivers demonstrating precision,
speed, and advanced technical control across a dynamic sandy course. The round
also deployed the Patrol Pro 4X as the official safety car, highlighting the
championship’s commitment to operational standards and the highest levels of
safety across desert environments.
The overall standings for the second round were as follows:
· 1st Place: Mohammed Al Askandarani – 6-cylinder stock category
· 2nd Place: Zakaria Mohammed – 8-cylinder modified category (Patrol)
· 3rd Place: Ahmed Mandourah – 4-cylinder modified category
With the Jeddah round now concluded, the championship moves
next to Tal’at Hail, which will host Round Three on 11–12 December 2025,
followed by the season finale on 13 December. The final stage will bring
together the top performers from both the Dammam and Jeddah rounds, along with
the winners of Round Three, to compete for the 2025 season titles across all
categories.
Through
the Nissan Tat’ees Championship, Nissan Saudi Arabia continues to strengthen
its role in advancing the Kingdom’s motorsport landscape by providing a
professional, safe, and competitive platform for local talent. The championship
enables drivers and enthusiasts to test and refine their skills across terrains
that reflect the geographic diversity of Saudi Arabia, bringing together
authenticity, innovation, and a passion for off-road performance. In doing so,
Nissan supports the development of desert motorsports and supports the broader
aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030 in sports, youth empowerment, and tourism.
