Two senior Ministry
representatives confirmed to speak at the Riyadh summit

Arabia: Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Sport has joined the World Stadiums &
Arenas Summit as Event Partner for its 14-15 October 2026 edition at Hilton
Riyadh Hotel & Residences. The two-day event will convene government
leaders and senior figures from across the global sports industry to explore
the future of stadiums, arenas, sports infrastructure, venue development and
operational excellence.
The Ministry's
participation as Event Partner will bring a government perspective to
discussions spanning investment, public-private partnerships, design,
construction, venue operations, technology, sustainability and the long-term
development of sports infrastructure.
The World
Stadiums & Arenas Summit will examine the next phase of stadium and arena
development, bringing together stakeholders from government, sports
federations, clubs, investment, infrastructure, venue operations, consulting
and technology.
The programme
will also feature the Stadiums & Arenas Awards, with winners announced on
15 October and projects recognised across areas including design, construction,
sustainability, safety, accessibility and community impact.
The Ministry's
participation comes as Saudi Arabia continues to advance its sports sector
under Vision 2030, including the modernisation of stadiums and facilities and
increased private-sector participation and investment.
As Event
Partner of the World Stadiums & Arenas Summit, the Ministry will contribute
to discussions with the organisations involved in delivering the next
generation of sports infrastructure. The Summit will connect government
stakeholders with investors, developers, venue operators, federations, clubs,
advisers and technology providers, creating opportunities to exchange expertise
and explore collaboration across the sector.
The Ministry of
Sport will also be represented on the conference programme by Anas Dahlawi,
General Manager - Facilities Operation, Ministry of Sport KSA, and Fares
Alnafesah, Senior Privatization Manager, Ministry of Sport KSA. Both will
participate in sessions at the World Stadiums & Arenas Summit, bringing
Ministry perspectives to discussions on stadium operations, privatisation,
public-private partnerships and sector development.
The Summit will
bring together senior representatives from Saudi Arabia and the international
sports industry, connecting organisations involved in shaping venues,
investment, infrastructure, operations and technology at a time of significant
development across the Kingdom's sports sector.
The World
Stadiums & Arenas Summit takes place on 14-15 October 2026 at Hilton Riyadh
Hotel & Residences in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
