Inc. brings the globally acclaimed Persian restaurant Berenjak to Riyadh,
opening its first permanent location at VIA Riyadh following its previous
critical success during Riyadh Season.

Saudi Arabia, 1st April 2026: Berenjak, the acclaimed London-born Persian
restaurant known for re-imagining traditional Persian cuisine, today opens its
doors at its first permanent venue in the Kingdom, located at VIA Riyadh. This
new venture from London follows the success of the Berenjak pop-up in the same
location in February 2025 - a critically acclaimed part of Riyadh Season - and
marks a significant new chapter in the brand’s international journey.
Berenjak is the vision of Kian Samyani, which is a modern expression of the kebabi houses, refined for today whilst being rooted in time-honoured family recipes and memories, coming all the way from London. Operating in collaboration with Cool Inc., the Riyadh venue compliments existing outlets in the United Kingdom, United States and the Middle East, bringing a fresh and distinctive dining philosophy to Riyadh, enriching the diversity of Saudi Arabia’s food scene and reaffirming Riyadh’s expanding position as a premier gastronomic destination.


At
Berenjak Riyadh, guests are invited into a space where open-fire cooking and
live kitchen take centre stage, bringing energy, warmth and authenticity to
every meal. Following the core principles that define all JKS Restaurants, the
team showcases an unwavering focus on delivering an exceptional dining
experience, where every moment is driven by passion. Generosity, a key pillar
of Persian cuisine is woven throughout the experience from complimentary dishes
to a genuine care for guests, making it a fundamental part of what Berenjak
offers with a warm cozy communal set up at Via Riyadh.
The
Berenjak menu celebrates Persian dishes, featuring a range of Mezzeh-style
sharing plates, charcoal-grilled kebabs, khoreshy (stews), rice and salads.
Dishes are prepared using traditional Persian tools such as the mangal
barbecue, and vertical rotisserie, all crafted with the finest seasonal
ingredients and Persian influences from London of saffron, pomegranate and
herbs.
As
the brand reflects, “our story began with a grain of rice, and it has brought
us here,” a journey that continues in Riyadh, where tradition and innovation
