The Desert is calling - and AlKhallat+ is answering with its
wildest stories yet. Netflix has released the first look at AlKhallat+: Desert
Rules, the return of one of Saudi Arabia’s most beloved comedy universes, reimagined as a four episode anthology series
premiering exclusively on April 2.
Set against the desert backdrop of Saudi Arabia, the new series
delivers four outrageous stories packed with mischief, bad decisions, and
consequences no one saw coming. The series reunites fan-favorite talent from
previous AlKhallat stories -including Mohammed Aldokhei and Ali Al
Kalthami - alongside a new generation of comedic troublemakers such as Malik
Nejer، Abdullah AlDrees, Feras Almubarki, Mishaal Tamer, and poets Mane'e Ben
Shalhat and Saeed Ben Mane'e.
Each episode drops an unlikely hero into a hilariously absurd
desert misadventure that pushes identity, pride, and ambition to the edge. An
anxious teen. A clueless security guard. A desperate filmmaker. A tongue-tied
poet. Their plans spiral, their luck runs out, and one by one they discover a
simple truth: the desert plays by its own rules - and its sense of humor is as
dry as the sand.
With the directorial debut of Aziz Aljasmi and Mohammed Alajmi,
AlKhallat+ marks a bold new chapter for the franchise - blending sharp satire,
culturally rooted storytelling and high production value to deliver four
distinct cinematic experiences.
Produced by Telfaz11 and created by Ali Kalthami and Mohammed
Algarawi, the series continues its commitment to championing authentic Saudi
voices while pushing the boundaries of offbeat comedy and surreal storytelling.
All four episodes of AlKhallat+ will stream globally on Netflix
beginning April 2.
