Goodyear Partners with AIMS International to Accelerate Digitalization and Fleet Performance in Saudi Arabia
Manal Saleh
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 21 October 2025 – Goodyear, a global leader in tire
technology and mobility solutions, is proud to announce further collaboration
in digital technology with AIMS International, a leading comprehensive
logistics provider in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) with more than two
decades of successful operations. The partnership builds on the existing
relationship between AIMS International, Goodyear, and its official Saudi
distributor, Al Rashed Tires. The
expanded partnership will see the deployment of Goodyear CheckPoint, a
drive-over tire inspection platform being installed at AIMS International’s key
dispatch points to elevate safety, uptime, and operational efficiency.
Advancing AIMS
International’s Digitalization with Goodyear CheckPoint
Goodyear
CheckPoint is a yard-based, drive-over inspection system that automatically
measures tire pressure and tread depth in seconds as vehicles pass over a
ground-embedded plate equipped with sensors and cameras. Results are available
instantly via a display terminal and the Goodyear fleet applications, helping
teams identify issues before they lead to unplanned downtime and enabling
faster, safer dispatch operations with less manual checking.
By digitizing
routine tire inspections and alerting maintenance teams to priority actions,
CheckPoint helps reduce labor and inspection time versus manual checks, while
giving fleet managers a frequently updated snapshot of tire program health
across vehicles.
Goodyear’s CheckPoint solution is designed to support
the company’s position as a preferred mobility partner across the Kingdom.
Alignment with
Saudi Vision 2030
The digital
collaboration directly supports Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transport
and Logistics Strategy (NTLS) objectives to transform the Kingdom into a global
logistics hub, enhance safety and efficiency across transport networks, and
leverage advanced technologies to raise sector performance. Goodyear’s
CheckPoint deployment at AIMS International’s dispatch points exemplifies
practical digital adoption that improves fleet reliability, safety, and
sustainability—key pillars of the NTLS—and complements the National Industrial
Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) focus on building world-class
logistics capabilities[i].

performance has earned the trust of customers across Saudi Arabia and the wider
