FESPA Middle East announces FLEX 2025 Roadshow, connecting print and signage leaders across the region

Dubai, UAE | 14 October 2025: FESPA Middle East has announced the return of the FESPA Leadership Exchange (FLEX) 2025 series, a roadshow comprising four events taking place from 24 to 27 November in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Egypt.

Following its successful debut in March 2023, when it was held ahead of the launch of FESPA Middle East, FLEX has since become an integral part of the conference programme at the show. This unique series of events examines the evolving landscape of the global and regional markets, focusing on technological and behavioural shifts.

Designed specifically for senior print and signage professionals, FLEX focuses on delivering content centred on business-building principles and knowledge exchange.

The destination’s new season guarantees another remarkable cultural experience for guests from the UAE and across the world and is set to celebrate 30 seasons of laughter, exploration, togetherness, and excitement.

Over 250 dining options await guests this season, including the Restaurant Plaza, which houses 11 double-storey restaurants offering a variety of global cuisines. Located next to the Carnaval fun-fair area, the plaza overlooks the Falcon Stage, a lively centre stage for live performances.

Enhanced experiences

Fiesta Street is making a grand return this season with an impressive upgrade, offering more space to explore its vibrant kiosks. The Railway Market, now rebranded as Dessert District, is back with an elevated dining experience and countless photo-worthy moments. Road of Asia is returning with a bold new name, Asia Boulevard, bringing more excitement to the dining and shopping experiences in the park. Moreover, the much-loved Happiness Street will feature a stunning new canopy that enhances its atmosphere and adds a refreshing touch to the overall experience.

Thrilling attractions

Global Village guarantees fun for families, kids and thrill-seekers alike, featuring over 200 rides, games and attractions, most of which are located at Carnaval. New rides this season include York Bikes, Toronto Tornado, Desert Dashers, Cape Glider, Rio Rocket and The Little Wonderers. Season 30 will witness the addition of the all-new The Dragon Kingdom, featuring an immersive walk-through experience with 11 themed rooms, each offering a different challenge and atmosphere – blending fantasy, mystery and adventure. Lastly, the biggest haunted house, The Horror Hotel, formerly known as House of Fear, is coming back this season with a brand-new look and enhanced experience.

The area in front of the Egypt pavilion and extending all the way to the front of the Iran pavilion will be reimagined into ‘Gardens of the World,’ a new attraction with an exotic arrangement of flowers and landmark icons from around the world. Another special highlight this season is the Season 30 cake monument located at Arabian Square, in celebration of Global Village’s 30th Season, offering visitors a picture-worthy moment.

An extraordinary lineup of over 40,500 shows featuring 450 world-class performers from more than 30 nationalities will be taking centre stage again. A brand-new stunt show, Fast Live Spectacular, debuts this season, featuring epic battles between stunt teams, Tokyo-style drifting, motorbike jumps, fire, explosions and iconic cars.

The Main Stage will host international shows such as Retumbar, Red Hot Chili Pipers, Mayumana, Burn the Floor, Dhol Foundation and Swan Lake, in addition to a spectacular lineup of bespoke shows produced by the Global Village Entertainment team, such as the Haunted House, Boom Bollywood, Slam, Scatty Chapati and many more. For younger guests, the Kids Theatre will feature exclusive performances from Care Bears and PJ Masks.

This season also debuts an exciting new fire and light show, next to the Dragon Lake. Additionally, a fresh light show will be introduced in front of the main stage, enhanced with festoon lighting that adds a wonderful charm to the area. True to tradition, the renowned Global Village firework shows will light up the skies above the destination every Friday and Saturday at 9pm.

Global Village is committed to delivering exceptional guest experience, with enhanced services across all parking zones and prominently displayed directional signs inside the park, along with Way Finding screens across the destination for added convenience.

Tickets are now available for purchase through official Global Village channels such as the App, website Globalvillage.ae and ticketing gates at all entrances, with prices remaining unchanged. The Weekday ticket is valid from Sunday to Wednesday (excluding public holidays), while the Any Day ticket offers flexibility to visit on any day, including public holidays. Tuesdays are reserved for families and ladies (except on public holidays).

Jeddah, October 16, 2025 – Nissan Saudi Arabia announced the launch of the inaugural Nissan Tat’ees Championship 2025, marking a bold new chapter in Nissan’s ongoing commitment to supporting motorsports and desert adventure culture in the Kingdom, under the supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF).

The championship reflects Nissan’s dedication to strengthening its presence in the Kingdom’s motorsports scene and supporting local talent through nurturing a professional platform that welcomes both drivers and enthusiasts to experience challenges combining power, precision, and the spirit of adventure, all within a desert environment that blends authenticity with innovation.
This initiative forms part of Nissan’s broader strategy to empower driving enthusiasts to explore their passion in conditions that mirror Saudi Arabia’s rich and diverse natural landscape, reinforcing the brand’s role as an active local partner in the development of motorsports across the Kingdom.

AMD and Kerno announce “Made in the Emirates” initiative to deliver AI and enterprise infrastructure to GCC markets

Dubai, UAE – October 17, 2025 – AMD has signed a strategic collaboration with Kerno, a UAE-based enterprise infrastructure provider, to accelerate the delivery of AI and cloud infrastructure to GCC markets including the UAE and Saudi Arabia. As part of this agreement, the companies will collaborate on a “Made in the Emirates” initiative, where AMD-based solutions will be co-developed in the UAE.

Huawei Launches Wheelchair Mode in its HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series at GITEX 2025, with Rollout in November

Dubai, UAE, 13 October 2025 – At GITEX 2025, Huawei unveiled its groundbreaking Wheelchair Mode for the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series, reinforcing its dedication to inclusive smart-health innovation. The feature, inspired by a suggestion from His Excellency Majid Rashed, President of the Asian Paralympic Committee, will be delivered via a global software update in early November, with the official consumer launch aligned with the kickoff of Dubai Ride.

 

The new Wheelchair Mode transforms how wheelchair users track activity; leveraging inertial measurement units (IMUs), push-detection algorithms, and wheel rotation sensors, it determines push frequency, force, speed, and distance. Combined with HUAWEI TruSense System—continuous heart-rate monitoring, SpO₂, calorie estimation, and pressure/torque sensing—the mode delivers a complete wellness profile adapted to wheelchair propulsion.

Huawei's newly launched F5G-A FTTO series centers on the concept of "Boosting AI with Fiber” and delivers four key strengths to underpin AI-driven digital transformation.

 

• Ultra-broadband performance: As an industry first, the commercial symmetric 50G PON boosts bandwidth by 5 times compared to previous generations. Supporting seamless upgrades from 10G to 50G PON, it delivers 50 Gbps to individual rooms and 10 Gbps to access points. It is ideal solution for bandwidth-intensive scenarios such as VR classrooms and pathology labs.

• Simplified architecture: The native two-layer architecture enables direct fiber-to-room deployment, eliminating the need for ELV rooms and slashing cabling costs by up to 80%. Additionally, hard slicing technology enables multi-network convergence: a single fiber can support Ethernet, Wi-Fi, POTS, reducing total cost of ownership (TCO) by 30%.

• Smart connectivity: AI-powered Wi-Fi anti-interference technology enhances access performance by 20% in complex environments. Dedicated Wi-Fi air interfaces ensure lag-free experiences for mission-critical applications like video conferencing and remote healthcare services.

• Intelligent sensing: Optical APs integrated with Channel State Information (CSI) sensing enable real-time behavior recognition and environmental monitoring. These capabilities seamlessly connect with energy management and building management systems, elevating overall network intelligence.

 

Given to the four key strengths, Huawei introduced a range of new F5G-A products tailored for healthcare, education, office, and hospitality, delivering ubiquitous 10G experiences.

• Healthcare: Equipped with Huawei’s symmetric 50G PON terminal P992H, medical facilities can deliver 50 Gbps to rooms and 10 Gbps directly to devices. This power cuts AI-driven pathology analysis time from 1 hour to just 5 minutes, an impressive 12x efficiency boost. For bedside deployment, the compact 10G M45 P892M ONU fits seamlessly into bed head panels, enabling direct fiber access to each ward bed without additional information boxes.

• Education: Huawei’s newly launched 16-port XGS-PON Pro P884E stands out with dual 12.5G uplinks, supporting a maximum bandwidth of 25G. It enables unified access for key educational devices, including electronic whiteboards, cameras, electronic class signs, and computers. What’s more, it comes with multiple optical-electrical composite cables, allowing long-distance power supply to terminal devices and ensuring smooth, lag-free simultaneous access from dozens of information points.

• Office: The 4-port panel ONU P802P brings fiber directly to the desktop, delivering 10 Gbps access with a sleek design and robust security features. Complementing it, the high-performance Wi-Fi 7 optical AP W827H supports seamless roaming across office spaces and integrates energy-saving functions (such as motion-triggered lighting control), balancing productivity and sustainability.

• Hospitality: Huawei offers tailored coverage solutions for hospitality scenarios: the 3-in-1 Wi-Fi 7 optical AP W827E (for indoor use) and outdoor model W817T. Together, they deliver full indoor-outdoor connectivity, boosting network speed by 20% while leveraging intelligent interference mitigation to ensure stable, high-quality access for guests.

         Huawei Cloud unveiled its latest AI-Native Cloud capabilities at GITEX GLOBAL 2025, empowering enterprises to accelerate intelligence in the Agentic AI era.

         AI compute service offers a reliable cloud platform for training and running models, E2E cloud-based toolchains, and strong support for major open-source foundation models.

         Through model development platform like ModelArts Studio, and AI agent development platform like Versatile, Huawei Cloud is driving large-scale AI adoption and industry transformation across the Middle East and Central Asia.

 

Dubai, UAE – October 14, 2025 – Huawei Cloud unveiled its latest AI-Native Cloud capabilities at GITEX GLOBAL 2025, underscoring its commitment to accelerating intelligence across industries and empowering enterprises in the Agentic AI era.

At the GITEX AI Stage, Dr. Zhu Shenggao, Vice President of AI Business, Huawei Cloud Middle East & Central Asia, delivered a keynote titled “Accelerate Intelligence with AI-Native Cloud Services”, highlighting how breakthroughs in reasoning, tool use, and code generation are paving the way for a new phase of autonomous, goal-driven AI.

The company is amplifying intelligence by building AI-native cloud infrastructure and reshaping cloud services and industries.

AI adoption is transforming industries such as finance, healthcare, education, retail, and energy, driving measurable economic and social impact. He introduced Huawei Cloud’s ModelArts platform which provides a full-stack AI development environment covering model training, inference, and lifecycle management, alongside Versatile which enables multi-agent collaboration systems to streamline the creation and deployment of production-ready AI agents for enterprises.

Data is now the new oil in the digital era, and data quality determines model quality, thereby forming the knowledge-centric foundation for enterprises. Huawei Cloud’s DataArts Studio provides a one-stop data lifecycle management platform, providing the E2E governance of databases, warehouses, lakes, and AI to unleash the value of data. The SecMaster provides over 95% accuracy in detection of malicious scripts, with over 99% automate handling of threats.

Rick Luo, Chief Solution Architect, Huawei Cloud Middle East & Central Asia showcased the new Huawei Cloud Stack 8.6 which features 8 major upgrades in four areas: cloud foundation, data+AI, application modernization, and streamlined O&M, helping enterprises build an integrated Data+AI engine, which is essential for driving transformation.

In addition, a survey report by Omdia showcased that Huawei Cloud Stack was ranked No.1 overall and five areas in Middle East market, providing outstanding customer support and showing strong technology innovation while compliant with local regulations.

Empowering Customer Through Collaboration

The Tech Innovation Forum also featured key regional customers demonstrating real-world applications of Huawei Cloud’s AI technologies.

Ayman Mohammed, Head of the Partners Team at the Dubai GIS Center, Dubai Municipality highlighted how the organization is driving digital transformation to enhance services across Dubai. With Huawei providing key technological support, and by leveraging advanced tools such as the 3D Digital Twin Engine and integrating GIS data with AI technologies, Dubai Municipality is implementing innovative solutions across areas like human interaction, transportation, and tracking systems.

Dr. Maha Al Mansoori, Education Associate Director, Zoud showcased UAE’s First AI-powered financial empowerment platform - Zoud Digital Platform, built on Huawei Cloud platform. The digital platform is an AI-powered financial engine aligned with the country's data-driven vision, aiming to deliver personalised guidance and empower UAE residents with financial literacy, while supporting broader national financial health and economic development.
