Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 11 October 2026 – This October, Sofitel Riyadh Hotel & Convention Centre is turning pink. From the first morning of the month, soft shades of pink will appear across the hotel, from the pastry counter at La Matinée to the Friday brunch table at Zeline, as the hotel marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a series of moments that bring people together around one simple message: early detection saves lives.

Sofitel Riyadh kicked off its Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities on Wednesday, 7 October, with an Awareness Walk at 7:00 AM, bringing together hotel guests and employees in a show of solidarity with women and families affected by breast cancer. The initiative formed part of the hotel's ongoing commitment to social responsibility, aiming to raise awareness of the importance of early detection and encourage community participation in supporting this important cause.

Later in the month, the conversation continues with a Ladies’ Awareness Session held in collaboration with Zahra Breast Cancer Association. In a warm and welcoming setting, women are invited to learn more about breast cancer awareness, prevention, and early detection, and why regular screening matters so much. It is a space to ask questions, to share, and to leave with the knowledge to take charge of their health.

Throughout October, the cause also finds its way to the table. From 1 October, a dedicated Pink October display takes centre stage at La Matinée, with specially prepared, pink-themed pastries, sweets and beverages crafted with the finesse of French pâtisserie. Every treat carries a little extra meaning, with a dedicated sales going to Zahra Breast Cancer Association.

Each Friday, Zeline Restaurant’s Friday Brunch is dressed in pink, with the Pink October theme brought to life across the buffet, a selection of specially created desserts, and thoughtful touches throughout the experience. it is the perfect occasion to gather family and friends around the table and celebrate the women who matter most.



As October draws to a close, Sofitel Riyadh will make a donation to Zahra Breast Cancer Association in support of its awareness programmes and patient care initiatives. Every pastry enjoyed, every brunch shared, and every step taken this month becomes part of that support, and the hotel warmly invites everyone to be part of the story this Pink October.
