JEWELS OF THE WORLD VISITS SAUDI ARABIA’S EASTERN PROVINCE
Manal Saleh
The Middle East’s Premier
Watch & Jewellery event opens to the public at Dhahran Expo with spectacular
showcase of craftmanship, heritage and innovation
23 June 2026; Jewels of the World opened its doors in Saudi Arabia’s Al
Khobar on 23 June 2026. Running until 26 June at the Dhahran Expo, the highly
anticipated event returns to the Eastern Province, offering visitors the
opportunity to discover an exceptional selection of creations from renowned
maisons and independent artisans.
This year's exhibition
marks Jewels of the World's second edition in Al Khobar. Building on the
success of last year's event, the 2026 show presents an expanded showcase of high
jewellery, bridal sets, everyday jewellery, precious gemstones and
timepieces.
Featuring designs from across the world, the event celebrates
a rich cross-cultural blend of heritage and contemporary innovation. From
intricate filigree and masterful goldwork to sleek avant-garde designs, vibrant
coloured gemstones and exceptional diamonds, a diverse range of styles is on
display, where traditional detailing and modern reinterpretations come together
– and exacting craftsmanship takes centre stage.

Among the highlights at
the show are Italian House FerriFirenze’s newest Spring Summer collections:
Light, Trilly, Chiacchierino, and Giulio. Light explores chromatic
harmony through delicate compositions of sapphires; with Trilly, fluid
silhouettes and vibrant gemstone pairings create pieces that are playful, interactive
and refined. Inspired by traditional Italian lace-making techniques, Chiacchierino
reinterprets the artistry of intricate knots, and Giulio is a tribute to
the Maison’s heritage and timeless identity.
Also hailing from Italy, Vhernier’s
celebrated Abbraccio collection is showcased – perhaps its most iconic
line, inspired by the powerful simplicity of modern sculpture and a signature
that expresses the aesthetic vision of the Maison. Luca Carati presents its Déco collection,
paying homage to the glamour of the Art Deco period; it captures the movement's
fascination with geometric forms, striking V motifs and radiant lines, inspired
by an era that transformed the arts, architecture, jewellery and design.
George Hakim is presenting its Four
Elements collection, including the Fire necklace which unites 291 diamonds totalling
25.29 carats and 68 Burmese rubies totalling 42.28 carats. A creation of true
artistry, it is complemented by a matching Fire ring featuring a 2-carat ruby,
framed by an intricate halo of colourless marquise diamonds. Another celebrated
name in Middle Eastern jewellery, Nsouli is also displaying its high
jewellery creations, underlining the house's exceptional craftsmanship and
distinctive design language.
Through passion and commitment to a meaningful and
radiating craft, Yvan Tufenkjian has carved out a formidable foothold in
the world of fine jewellery and is showcasing its elegant yet rebellious
designs at the show. Intertwining cultural heritage and modern luxury, the
brand crafts wearable, one-of-a-kind works of art.
Devji Aurum’s Bridal collection
celebrates the grandeur of weddings through masterfully crafted 21-karat gold
creations. Designed for the modern bride who honours tradition, it features
regal chokers, layered harams, intricate bangles and statement earrings. Each
piece reflects architectural precision, rich textures and meticulous
hand-finishing. Also hailing from India and present at the Al Khobar event is Nafees
Jaipur, renowned for bold forms and expressive colour compositions
that defy convention, its jewellery brought to life through unexpected gemstone
pairings and refined architectural balance.
Alessa Jewelry is presenting its
sought-after collection of everyday fine jewellery that resonates across
cultures – including the precious and geometrical Elixir collection, a
tribute to eternity and everlasting youth. Crafted from the finest gold and
diamonds, pieces are designed for versatility, perfect for stacking and
layering, allowing wearers to create unique combinations that tell their own
story.
