Saudi Travelers Expand Global Horizons as Emerging Destinations Gain Momentum in 2025

Manal Saleh

Riyadh – February 2026 – Saudi travelers are increasingly exploring new international destinations, with recent data pointing to strong growth in travel beyond traditional hotspots and toward emerging markets across Asia, Africa, and Eastern Europe.

An analysis of Saudi outbound eSIM usage by Airalo, covering the period from November 2024 to October 2025, shows notable year-on-year growth in destinations such as Vietnam, Lebanon, Lithuania, and Uganda—highlighting a broader shift in Saudi travel preferences.

While established destinations in Europe and Turkey continue to attract high volumes, the data indicates that Saudi travelers are becoming more confident in exploring non-traditional routes, reflecting changing lifestyles and a more outward-looking travel mindset.

“Saudi travelers today are more globally aware and open to discovering new cultures,” said Ahmed Elficky, Regional Director at Airalo. “We’re seeing growing interest in destinations that offer authentic experiences and cultural depth, which signals a clear evolution in how Saudis approach international travel.”

Reflecting Lifestyle Shifts in Saudi Arabia

The rise of emerging destinations mirrors wider social and lifestyle changes taking place across the Kingdom. As international travel becomes more accessible and frequent, Saudi travelers are diversifying where they go and how they travel—placing greater value on meaningful experiences and flexibility.

Countries in Southeast Asia, Africa, and Eastern Europe are attracting increased attention due to cultural richness, competitive travel costs, greater visibility through digital platforms and social media, and improved access to reliable digital services while abroad.

Connectivity as a Travel Essential

As Saudis travel to a wider range of destinations, staying connected has become an essential part of the journey. Reliable mobile connectivity supports navigation, communication, and access to digital services—particularly in less familiar markets.

“Whether traveling for leisure or exploration, connectivity gives travelers confidence,” Elficky added. “It allows people to focus on the experience itself, knowing they can stay connected wherever they are.”

Looking Ahead

With outbound travel from Saudi Arabia continuing to grow, emerging destinations are expected to play a larger role in shaping travel patterns in the coming years. The trend reflects a Saudi traveler who is increasingly global in outlook, digitally enabled, and eager to engage with the world beyond traditional tourism routes.

This Ramadan, Life’s Good with LG: Smart Appliances Designed for Modern Living

Manal Saleh

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, February 24, 2026 – Ramadan is a moment for reflection, generosity, and gathering with loved ones. As families prepare Suhoor and Iftar, kitchens naturally turn into the home's central hub. This Holy Month, LG Electronics emphasizes how its high-end kitchen appliances are crafted to enhance convenience, boost efficiency, and incorporate thoughtful innovations, helping families focus on what truly matters.

Ramadan often brings more frequent cooking, larger meals and shared moments that extend late into the evening. Behind every beautifully prepared Iftar is thoughtful planning, careful preparation and considerable effort. LG’s HS Kitchen appliance line, spanning built-in solutions, ovens, microwaves, refrigerators and dishwashers, is engineered to quietly and reliably support that work, operating seamlessly in the background so families can concentrate on the moments unfolding around them.

Designed for Demanding Ramadan Kitchens

Modern kitchens feature LG’s built-in appliances that blend space efficiency with energy savings. Their clean, seamless design fosters an organized space suited for daily cooking and special Ramadan events, maintaining both style and practicality.

LG’s ovens ensure consistent, even heating for Iftar preparations, enabling home cooks to achieve reliable results across various dishes. Whether cooking traditional family recipes or trying new flavors, accurate temperature control guarantees thorough and even cooking. With the LG ThinQ app, users can remotely monitor and manage compatible appliances, like preheating the oven on the way home or adjusting settings directly from their smartphone.

LG’s microwave solutions complement busy Ramadan schedules with intelligent sensor cooking that automatically adjusts time and power settings for optimal reheating. Designed to simplify everyday tasks, these features reduce guesswork and free up time for hosting and family interaction.

Freshness That Lasts Throughout the Month

Fresh ingredients are central to Ramadan hospitality. LG refrigerators with Twin Cooling Plus™ technology maintain optimal humidity in both the fridge and freezer compartments, helping preserve flavor and texture for longer. By reducing odor mixing and maintaining consistent cooling, the system supports better food storage throughout the month, especially during periods of bulk grocery shopping.

Reliable performance means households can prepare ahead with confidence, knowing ingredients will remain fresh and ready when it is time to cook.

Effortless Cleanup, More Time Together

After shared meals come shared memories and the inevitable cleanup. LG dishwashers with QuadWash™ technology use multi-directional spray arms to reach dishes from multiple angles, delivering thorough cleaning while helping households save time and water. Quiet operation keeps post-Iftar evenings calm and uninterrupted.

Across every stage - preparation, cooking, storage and cleanup - LG appliances are built to shoulder the practical demands of Ramadan without drawing attention to themselves. Their role is simple: to work dependably, efficiently and unobtrusively, supporting the care and hospitality that define the season.

“Ramadan is a meaningful time for families across the Kingdom,” said Jungho (Sunny) Kim, Managing Director of LG Electronics Saudi Arabia. “Our role is not to redefine traditions but to support them by designing appliances that simplify daily routines and give families more time to connect. Through innovation and smart connectivity, we aim to make everyday living more seamless during the Holy Month and beyond.”

Smart Connectivity for Modern Living

At the center of this connected ecosystem is the LG ThinQ app, which unifies compatible appliances on one intuitive platform. From maintenance notifications to energy management, ThinQ empowers users with greater visibility and control over their homes, anytime, anywhere.

Manal Saleh

ASMO, a joint venture between Aramco and DHL Supply Chain, has partnered with Arcapita Group Holdings Limited (“Arcapita”), a global alternative investment firm, to develop a 1.4 million square meter purpose-built logistics facility in Saudi Arabia designed to support the next phase of the Kingdom’s logistics and supply chain development. The project will be delivered through a forward funding transaction, reflecting a long-term investment in national infrastructure.

Through the partnership, Arcapita will fund and retain ownership of the facility, while ASMO will develop, lease, and operate the asset under a 22-year occupational lease. The facility will include a 43,000 square meter temperature-controlled Grade-A logistics warehouse, over 3,000 square meters of offices and staff facilities, 5,300 square meters of dedicated chemical storage space, and a 1.2 million square meter open yard. The investment reflects a shared goal by the parties to develop resilient, scalable, and future-ready institutional grade logistics infrastructure in the Kingdom.

Designed for large-scale industrial operations, the facility will help boast advanced warehouse and building management systems, digital integration, automated storage and retrieval systems, robotics, adherence to globally recognized sustainability standards, including photovoltaic readiness, electrical vehicle charging, and a LEED Gold certification.

“This development reflects the strategic intent behind ASMO’s mandate and reaffirms its role in enabling resilient and future-ready supply chains”, said Salem Al Huraish, Chairman of ASMO. “By investing in long-term infrastructure and strategic partnerships, ASMO is supporting the Kingdom’s industrial ambitions and contributing to the development of integrated logistics capabilities that serve both national priorities and global markets.”

The facility represents ASMO’s first purpose-built logistics center and forms part of four planned strategic sites underpinning ASMO’s national logistics network, aligned with the National Transport and Logistics Strategy (NTLS) under Saudi Vision 2030. Once operational, it will serve Aramco, its affiliates, and other key industrial players across the Kingdom.

“ASMO’s new logistics hub at SPARK helps to strengthen Aramco’s supply chain resilience by delivering a centralized, high-efficiency facility in the heart of Saudi Arabia’s energy sector. As an anchor customer, we recognize the value of ASMO’s strategic investments in logistics infrastructure, demonstrating their ambition to delivering innovative, customer-focused solutions across the supply chain,” said Sulaiman Al Rubaian, Aramco Senior Vice President of Procurement & Supply Chain Management.

Isa Al Khalifa, Director and Head of MENA Real Estate at Arcapita, said: “This transaction builds on Arcapita’s established track record in developing and investing in Grade-A logistics and industrial assets. Combining our local expertise in Saudi Arabia with our experience in complex, forward-funded developments, we are pleased to partner with ASMO to support the development of a purpose-built facility that supports the Kingdom’s energy and industrial sectors, while securing a high-quality asset.”

Mishal Al Zughaibi, President & CEO of King Salman Energy Park (SPARK), said: “We are pleased to welcome ASMO to SPARK as part of a strategic partnership that further strengthens SPARK’s position as a premier logistics hub aligned with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. This significant investment reflects the strong collaboration and ambition of all parties involved. SPARK’s advanced infrastructure and comprehensive services were a key factor in ASMO’s decision to establish its state-of-the-art logistics center within our park.”

Located within Saudi Arabia’s energy ecosystem, SPARK is strategically positioned between Dammam Seaport, Aramco’s Abqaiq facilities, and Al Hasa, enabling direct connectivity across the Kingdom’s energy and industrial network. The site supports integrated operations through modern infrastructure and digital readiness and has attracted more than 70 investors from 16 countries, with Phase One infrastructure representing a total investment of $1.6 billion

Golden Days: Why Saudi Families Are Choosing Thoughtful, Budget-Smart Gifting Ahead of Ramadan

Manal Saleh

Riyadh, 23 February 2026: In Saudi Arabia, the weeks leading up to Ramadan are a meaningful time of preparation. Families begin adjusting their routines, organizing their homes, and thinking intentionally about how they want to welcome Ramadan and Eid. This period is shaped by reflection and a desire to create a calm, comfortable environment.

Preparation often includes thoughtful gifting, simple gestures that express appreciation for loved ones and support daily life during Ramadan. Increasingly, these gifts are personal, useful, and aligned with family values rather than purely symbolic.

According to a recent YouGov study commissioned by AliExpress, nearly three in ten Saudi shoppers plan their festive purchases well in advance. This reflects a growing preference for entering Ramadan feeling prepared both practically and financially, while maintaining peace of mind.

Thoughtful Gifting That Fits Naturally into Ramadan

In Saudi households, gifting ahead of Ramadan is closely tied to gratitude and togetherness. YouGov research shows that mothers are the top gifting priority (66%), followed by spouses or partners and sisters, highlighting the cultural importance of recognising the women at the heart of family life.

Saudi shoppers are increasingly choosing gifts that integrate seamlessly into everyday routines. Practical items that support comfort and togetherness are prioritised, especially those that can be used repeatedly throughout the month. A USB-chargeable bakhoor light incense burner is one example, blending tradition with modern convenience and reflecting a clear preference for reliability and ease of use.

Beauty and personal care remain the leading gifting category in Saudi Arabia (41%). Items such as ultrasonic skin scrubbers offer small but meaningful moments of self-care at home, particularly valued during a month centred on balance, reflection, and wellbeing.

Preparing the Home for Shared Moments

Ramadan naturally turns homes into gathering spaces for shared meals and quiet evenings together. Preparation today focuses on creating warmth through thoughtful, understated details.

Seasonal décor such as Ramadan hanging ornaments and moon-and-star candle holders adds charm. Hosting essentials, including elegant serving trays and gold foil place cards help families feel ready to welcome guests in a relaxed, considered way.

At the table, functional yet refined pieces like Eid serving trays and tiered dessert stands support easy hosting while elevating presentation. These choices reflect a broader trend toward selecting items that remain useful well beyond Ramadan.

AliExpress as a Partner in Ramadan Preparation

As a major e-commerce platform in Saudi Arabia, AliExpress supports families by offering a wide range of products at accessible price points. From meaningful gifts and home décor to higher-value upgrades such as electronics, coffee machines, and everyday tech, the platform helps households balance practicality with long-term value.

This variety allows families to prepare at their own pace, choosing items that support smoother routines and more comfortable shared moments during Ramadan and beyond.

What This Means for Saudi Families

For Saudi households, preparation is about readiness and calm. Planning ahead allows families to focus on what matters most during Ramadan: spiritual reflection, hospitality, and time together.

To support this early, thoughtful approach, AliExpress is offering enhanced shipping benefits for customers in Saudi Arabia. The free shipping threshold has been reduced from SAR 225 to SAR 140, with free shipping available on all Choice items for orders over SAR 160. Selected brands also offer fast local delivery in as little as three days, making it easier to prepare for Ramadan and Eid with confidence.

As the Golden Days unfold, Ramadan preparation becomes a shared journey rooted in care, generosity, and the quiet joy of being ready. Explore Ramadan-ready essentials and thoughtful gifts on AliExpress and prepare for the season at your own pace.

Rooted in calm confidence, Mocha Muse leads with relaxed silhouettes and earthy neutrals, fluid, wearable pieces that prioritise comfort without compromising presence. Shehbaz Shaikh, Chief Operating Officer at REDTAG, said, “As one of the region’s most trusted value retailer, we approach Ramadan as a full-season wardrobe need, not a single shopping moment. That is exactly what this collection delivers: trend-led silhouettes, thoughtful details, and breadth across women, men, and kids, designed for how families dress during Ramadan. Our long-term commitment is simple: make modern fashion easy to afford at scale, season after season, while staying true to the cultural rhythm and expectations of the communities we serve.”

The Ramadan collection is available across REDTAG stores and online at Online Shopping & Clothing Store for Women, Men, Homeware Kids & Baby - REDTAG, with curated edits for women, men, and kids.

Galaxy AI Expands Multi-Agent Ecosystem To Give Users More Choice and Flexibility

Manal Saleh

Samsung continues to evolve its AI experience by adding a new AI agent across the Galaxy ecosystem to make everyday interactions easier

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Feb 23, 2026 -   Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced the continued expansion of Galaxy AI, reinforcing its vision for a rich, open and integrated multi-agent ecosystem. Built around Samsung’s vision of AI that reduces effort and steps across everyday tasks, Galaxy AI is designed to help users get things done more naturally with greater choice, flexibility and control.

Recent insights[1] show that people are increasingly using multiple AI agents depending on the task as AI becomes more embedded in daily routines. Nearly 8 in 10 users now rely on more than two types of AI agents. Reflecting this shift, Samsung is evolving Galaxy AI[2] to support a choice of integrated agents, enabling users to choose the experiences that best fit their needs, preferences and routines.

Galaxy AI was built to bring meaningful AI directly into the operating system through deep, framework-level connections across the device. Rather than operating within individual apps, Galaxy AI works at the system level by understanding the user’s context to support more natural interactions.

This approach reduces the need to switch between apps or repeat commands, allowing Galaxy AI to work in the background. It also enables Samsung to curate experiences from supporting services, such as Perplexity, while ensuring everything feels seamlessly integrated within the Galaxy environment.

“We’ve been committed to building an open and inclusive integrated AI ecosystem that gives users more choice, flexibility and control to get complex tasks done quickly and easily,” said Won-Joon Choi, President, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Head of the R&D Office, Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics. “Galaxy AI acts as an orchestrator, bringing together different forms of AI into a single, natural, cohesive experience.”

As part of this multi-agent expansion, Samsung will introduce Perplexity as an additional AI agent on upcoming flagship Galaxy devices. Users will be able to access Perplexity through a dedicated voice wake phrase, “Hey Plex,” or via quick-access controls such as pressing and holding the side button, making contextual assistance easy to reach when needed. Deeply embedded across select Samsung apps — including Samsung Notes, Clock, Gallery, Reminder and Calendar, as well as select third-party apps — Perplexity’s AI agent enables smoother, multi-step workflows, allowing users to move seamlessly between tasks without manually managing individual apps. This system-level approach offers Galaxy users a richer and more flexible AI experience across the device.

As Samsung continues to expand its inclusive AI ecosystem — in part by collaborating with trusted partners — the company remains focused on enabling experiences that are easy to use and available to all. Additional details about supported devices and experiences will be announced soon.

Manal Saleh

·        Positions Aluminium Arabia as a strategic industry platform aligned with Vision 2030 manufacturing and localisation objectives

·        Hosted in partnership with the National Industrial Development Center (NIDC) as the official Government Partner

·        Connects global aluminium leaders with Saudi Arabia’s expanding metals and advanced manufacturing ecosystem

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia | 23 Feb 2026: Aluminium Arabia 2026, organised by RX, will take place from 27 to 29 April 2026 at Arena Riyadh, establishing itself as a strategic industrial platform supporting Saudi Arabia’s manufacturing growth, localisation objectives and advanced industrial development in line with Vision 2030. The exhibition brings together government stakeholders, global industry leaders and local manufacturers to accelerate the Kingdom’s aluminium value chain and strengthen industrial capabilities across the sector.

The exhibition is organised in partnership with the National Industrial Development Center (NIDC), the official Government Partner for Aluminium Arabia 2026. The partnership aims to position NIDC as a leading national enabler within the exhibition, amplifying its efforts to localise value chains, foster innovation and connect Saudi industries with international markets. This collaboration reinforces Aluminium Arabia’s role as a bridge between policy, industry and global expertise, aligned with national industrial priorities.

As part of the global ALUMINIUM portfolio of events, including Aluminium Global Exhibition in Düsseldorf, Aluminium Arabia delivers international credibility while tailoring its content to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 ambitions. Saudi Arabia’s aluminium market is projected to reach a value of USD 3.53 billion by 2030, driven by a compound annual growth rate of 4.4 percent. This growth is underpinned by more than USD 12 billion invested in aluminium projects, abundant bauxite reserves, competitive energy costs and the presence of one of the world’s largest integrated aluminium production complexes at Ras Al-Khair Industrial City, producing 740,000 tonnes of aluminium per year.

Saudi Arabia has also set a clear ambition to be positioned among the top 10 aluminium producers globally, supported by broader investments across the metals sector and national initiatives that prioritise industrial innovation and localisation.

The inaugural Riyadh edition will unite the full aluminium value chain, from raw materials and processing technologies to downstream applications across construction, automotive, aerospace and packaging. With more than USD 1.3 trillion worth of infrastructure and megaprojects underway across the Kingdom, demand for aluminium solutions is accelerating, creating significant opportunities for producers, technology providers and end users.

Aluminium Arabia is structured around five core content pillars: downstream development; end-user applications; investment and localisation; sustainability and circular economy; and innovation, talent and Industry 4.0, including AI, IoT and data analytics. Together, these pillars reflect the exhibition’s comprehensive scope and its role in supporting the future development of Saudi Arabia’s aluminium and manufacturing ecosystem.

Michael Köhler, General Manager of RX Germany, added:
“This event extends global aluminium market expertise into one of the world’s most dynamic industrial landscapes. The Riyadh edition is designed to connect international solution providers with regional demand across infrastructure, advanced manufacturing and sustainable production, delivering practical business outcomes and strengthening cross-border industry collaboration.”

Eng. Matar Al-Harthi, EVP of Minerals & Metals at the National Industrial Development Center (NIDC), said:
“At NIDC, we believe in creating long-lasting bonds between policy and industry. Aluminium Arabia 2026 exemplifies this vision by uniting international leaders and local pioneers to set new benchmarks in industrial development and technological advancement.”

By aligning global best practices with local implementation, Aluminium Arabia 2026 aims to serve as a long-term platform shaping the future of the Middle East’s aluminium industry and industrial landscape.

Samsung Introduces the New Bixby in One UI 8.5

Manal Saleh

Bixby becomes a more conversational device agent, providing Galaxy users with intuitive device control reducing the time and effort required to manage device settings

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia – February 20, 2026 –  Samsung Electronics today announced the beta program for its latest version of Bixby,1 upgraded to operate as a conversational device agent. The update makes interacting with Galaxy devices more intuitive, as users can simply ask for what they need through natural language. Additionally, it expands access to up-to-date answers from the open web.

“Since we introduced our first AI phone in 2024, we’ve been committed to making them easier to use so more people can benefit from AI — that’s why we decided to integrate a device agent directly into the experience,” said Won-Joon Choi, Chief Operating Officer, Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics. “To support this, we redesigned Bixby to enable more natural interactions and intuitive device control, reducing friction in everyday tasks.”

Intuitive Device Control Through Natural Conversation

Bixby allows users to control and navigate Galaxy devices using natural language, without the need for exact setting names or commands. Users don’t need to learn how device menus are structured or remember specific terms to get things done; they can simply describe what they want — or ask why something is happening on their device — in their own words. Bixby understands the intent and takes the appropriate action, reducing the time and effort required to manage everyday device settings and features.

For example, a user could say, “I don’t want the screen to time out while I’m still looking at it.” Bixby understands the request and immediately turns on the ‘Keep Screen on While Viewing’ setting — without requiring them to navigate through settings or know the feature’s exact name.

Rather than offering generic instructions, Bixby can also identify the current settings of the device and suggest various possible solutions. This reduces trial and error, helping people complete tasks more quickly, even when they are unfamiliar with the device or its features.

If a user asks, “Why is my phone screen always on when it’s inside my pocket?” Bixby will use the context of the situation and bring up relevant settings, such as Accidental Touch Protection, allowing them to turn it on directly.

Real-Time Web Search Capabilities

Bixby also supports real-time web search capabilities. Now it can access live and up-to-date information, with results appearing within Bixby’s own user interface. This means people can explore topics and get answers to questions as part of one consistent and seamless experience.2 Without being redirected to a separate browser or app, users can find what they need more quickly and stay focused on the task at hand.

For instance, users can say to Bixby, “Find me hotels in Seoul that have swimming pools for kids.” Bixby processes the request and provides relevant web search results directly within its interface, allowing users to explore available options without interruption or delay.

Availability

The latest Bixby updates is available in One UI 8.5 in select markets including Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the UK and the U.S., with plans for broader expansion to follow. For more information about Bixby, visit https://www.samsung.com/sa_en/

The total dividend payout amounts to SAR 255,677,016, to be distributed across 31,959,627 eligible shares, representing a dividend of SAR 8 per share. Dividend distribution is scheduled for 10 March 2026.

The announcement comes as the company reported positive financial results for the year ended December 31, 2025, delivering revenue growth, improved operating performance, and continued market leadership across its core product categories.

In a challenging operating environment, SADAFCO successfully delivered against its 2025 priorities of driving volume growth while protecting and strengthening market share.

The business achieved high single-digit volume growth across the portfolio. Notably, SADAFCO’s flagship SKU — 1-litre UHT milk — recorded 14% volume growth. In addition, its ice cream hero product, Saudia Sandwich, accelerated significantly, delivering close to 20% volume growth in the second half of 2025 in Saudi Arabia.

Market share performance was equally strong. Comparing year-end 2024 with year-end 2025, SADAFCO recorded substantial gains across key categories: +550 basis points for 1-litre milk, +540 basis points for flavoured milk, and +150 basis points for ice cream (AC Nielsen, Nov 24 vs Nov 25).

SADAFCO recorded full-year revenue of SAR 2.99 billion, representing a 4.96% increase year-on-year, reflecting strong consumer demand and continued progress in strategic growth channels. This performance builds on momentum seen earlier in the year, with first-half revenue reaching SAR 1.56 billion, an 8.6% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

Operating profit increased to SAR 483.6 million, up 1.21%, supported by disciplined execution and operational focus. Total comprehensive income attributable to shareholders rose 1.73% to SAR 489.5 million, demonstrating the company’s ability to maintain resilient profitability while continuing to invest in future growth.

First-half net profit reached SAR 243.8 million, while net profit for the first nine months stood at SAR 428.31 million, underscoring consistent earnings strength across the year.

Performance was underpinned by strong momentum in high-growth channels, with e-commerce sales rising by 54.9%, the out-of-home channel growing by 38.4%, and export sales increasing by 26.0%. SADAFCO also continued to expand its international footprint, entering new export markets, while its Mlekoma operations delivered a 29.8% year-on-year increase in sales, reinforcing the benefits of its international expansion strategy.

The company maintained its leadership across key categories, retaining market share positions of 58.4% in UHT milk, 51.3% in tomato paste, and 30.5% in ice cream. A healthy gross margin of 31.1% supported an overall profitability level of 15.9%, reflecting the strength of SADAFCO’s product portfolio and operational resilience.

Commenting on the results, Patrick Stillhart, Chief Executive Officer of SADAFCO, said: “Our 2025 performance reflects the strength of our strategy and the disciplined execution of our teams across the business. By accelerating growth in high-potential channels, expanding our international footprint, and reinforcing our leadership across core categories, we continue to build a more resilient and future-ready company. Huawei to Unveil Next-Gen WATCH GT Runner in Madrid: A Generational Leap in Professional Athletic Tracking

Manal Saleh

Alriyadh, 18 February 2026: Huawei is set to unveil its latest elite running watch, the next-generation HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner, on February 26 in Madrid. Born from five years of sustained R&D and developed with direct input from world-class athletes, this watch represents a generational leap in accuracy for heart rate zones, lactate threshold, and GPS tracking in complex terrains. Featuring Huawei's proprietary TruSense and Sunflower positioning technologies, the watch is designed for the professional athletic market. It will be officially debuting alongside the new Mate 80 Pro and the all-new HUAWEI MatePad Mini.

The upcoming running watch has already proven itself to be an elite running tool on the international stage before the official launch. Several of the world's top runners from the dsm-firmenich Running Team were spotted wearing an unreleased running watch at the Burj2Burj Half Marathon held in Dubai earlier this month. Having undergone rigorous competitive testing before its official debut, the watch has already sparked significant public interest.

Real-world data from world-class athletes, including heart rate zones, lactate threshold fluctuations, and high-altitude performance, is fed directly into Huawei's advanced algorithms. This collaboration ensures that the watch's features are perfectly aligned with the core needs of professional runners. For world-class runners at this level, a running watch is a mission-critical tool. The new generation of the WATCH GT Runner is capable of accurate positioning for stable route and pace data, even in challenging environments.

Having earned its place with this elite running team on the international stage, the new Huawei running watch has proven that its performance is well worth the anticipation. This confidence is the result of Huawei's five years of sustained R&D investment in running technology. Furthermore, Huawei has also recruited over 100 runners for long-term testing. Additionally, Huawei developed machine learning models for fatigue assessment to provide runners with scientific exercise guidance. These solid technical accumulations have laid a solid foundation for the new generation running watch.

Returning to the global stage after a 3-year hiatus, the Mate Series is also expected to make a powerful statement with the Mate 80 Pro. This flagship smartphone will debut alongside the all-new HUAWEI MatePad Mini, marking a significant expansion of Huawei’s ecosystem.

Huawei is poised to set a new benchmark in the wearable industry with its new watch designed for professional athletics. With the stage set in Madrid, the world will soon witness how five years of innovation will redefine what is possible in sports tracking.

REDTAG Unveils a 2026 Ramadan Home Collection That Elevates Every Gathering - From Table to Living Space

Manal Saleh

A curated edit across Dining, Décor and Soft Furnishings told through three design stories: Zahraah, Suhoura and Layali.

February 18th , Riyadh, KSA: Ramadan begins at home through the table prepared with care, the living space styled for guests, and the everyday details that quietly signal the season has arrived. This year, REDTAG introduces its 2026 Ramadan Home Collection, created for the way families in Saudi Arabia prepare, host and gather throughout the holy month bringing a fresh, coordinated approach to seasonal home styling that feels elevated, effortless and accessible.

Designed around the moments that define Ramadan hospitality, the collection spotlights the areas of the home that guests experience most anchored in statement tableware and serveware, decorative accents and soft furnishings, alongside bedding essentials including comforters, cushions & more.  From coordinated dining pieces that elevate the hosting experience to layered textures that warm up living spaces and bedrooms, the range helps households create a home that feels festive yet lived-in, welcoming, refined, and ready for gatherings from the first week of Ramadan through to Eid.

Rather than presenting a single seasonal look, REDTAG structures the Ramadan Home Collection around three distinct sub-collections - Zahraah, Suhoura and Layali each created to reflect a different hosting mood and home aesthetic, while remaining unified through coordinated palettes, refined finishes and mix-and-match styling across categories.

Zahraah is defined by deep blues, warm neutrals and gold accents, bringing a polished, confident look to the table and living space ideal for families who enjoy hosting often and prefer classic richness with modern restraint.

Suhoura leans into layered textures and metallic highlights, inspired by late-night conversations and the intimacy of suhour moments. It offers a deeper, moodier elegance through coordinated dining pieces, decorative accents and soft furnishings that create a sense of warmth and occasion.

Layali completes the edit with lighter greens, white and muted gold, creating a calmer, airier story suited to serene spaces. It brings a softer Ramadan atmosphere through understated table styling and gentle decorative touches.

Together, these three narratives give families the freedom to curate a Ramadan home that matches their traditions, whether the month is defined by frequent gatherings, intimate evenings, or a simpler pace centred on togetherness.

With a strong footprint across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC, REDTAG continues to strengthen its role as a trusted destination for value-led lifestyle shopping bringing home and fashion under one roof while translating global design sensibilities into locally relevant, family-first edits. The 2026 Ramadan Home Collection reinforces REDTAG’s ability to deliver coordinated aesthetics at scale without turning seasonal preparation into a premium-only experience ensuring that thoughtful Ramadan styling remains accessible to the households the brand serves.

Shehbaz Shaikh, Chief Operating Officer at REDTAG, said: “During Ramadan, the home becomes more than a space, it becomes a feeling. The table, especially, carries many stories: quiet family evenings, late-night conversations, and the joy of hosting those we love. This collection brings that Ramadan atmosphere into the home, bringing together cohesive design stories that help families prepare their spaces with ease and intention. It reflects REDTAG’s promise: trend-aware design, curated at scale, and made accessible for the households we serve across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.”
